Vicard awarded the INRS Bronze Medal for its tongue-and-groove stave machining process

On Wednesday, June 18, we had the honor of receiving the Bronze Medal from the French National Institute for Research and Safety (INRS), presented by CARSAT Centre-Ouest, in recognition of our commitment to the prevention of occupational risks.
This distinction rewards the development of our new tongue-and-groove stave machining profile (ERL method), designed to improve working conditions for coopers.
Thanks to this innovation, the physical effort linked to hammering has been reduced by around 65%, marking a significant step forward in the prevention of musculoskeletal disorders. And because we believe this innovation should serve the collective interest, we chose not to patent it.
"The strength of a company lies above all in its people. Protecting our teams means safeguarding the future of our craft." – Jean-Charles Vicard
Our thanks go to CARSAT Centre-Ouest and INRS for this recognition.
